Margaret M. (Niedermeyer) Cornell, 91, of Springboro, PA passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Meadville Medical Center. She was born in Springboro, PA on January 28, 1934 to the late Antone and Theresa (Burger) Niedermeyer. She married Willard R. Cornell on October 19, 1956. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2010.
Margaret loved doing any kind of puzzles, gardening (especially flowers) and enjoyed a good piece of chocolate. She was famous for her sugar cookies, popcorn balls and pies.
She is survived by four children; Brenda Cornell, Mark (Lynn) Cornell, William Cornell and Susan Cornell and her fiancé Tom Krech, four grandchildren; Nicole and Stephen Cornell, Dan (Liz) Ferrara and Matthew (Trish) Ferrara, a great-grandson; Julian (Jude) Ferrara, a brother; Joseph (Barbara) Niedermeyer as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Margaret is preceded in death by sisters; Frances Niedermeyer, Kathryn Bialko, Elizabeth “Betty” Baker, Theresa Reagle, Helen Nider, Brothers; Tony, Martin, Frank, Edward and an infant sibling.
Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, May 19, 2025 at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM with Rev. Lea Guiney officating.
