Cheryl M. Petergal, 63, of Meadville, formerly of Conneautville passed away November 4, 2024. She was born September 14, 1961, in Meadville, PA, to the late Anthony and Nancy (Henretty) Petergal.
She was a 1981 graduate of Linesville High School and worked for Rolling Fields Eldercare Community for many years as a Dietary Aide. In her younger and working years she took pleasure in taking bus trips through Anderson Coach and Tour where she went to many country music concerts and attended the Oglebay Festival of Lights multiple times. She enjoyed attending the Crawford County and Albion Fairs. She never missed her favorite show, “Days of our Lives,” having a cup of coffee and spending time with her friends and family.
Cheryl is survived by her son Ryan (Jessica) Cottrell and their children Rylie, Lanie and Brantley Cottrell. She is also survived by four siblings, Tony Petergal, Shelly (Jon) Haag, Brian (Tina) Petergal and Dominique (Logan) Edwards and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a step-father, Glenn Grinnell and by a daughter Nicole Marie Cottrell.
There will be no services, per her request.
