Angela Lee King passed away Saturday, January 27, at the age of 53. A skilled chef and caregiver, Angela dedicated her life to helping others as a home health aid and as a chef for Stone Children’s Center.
Angela loved “her babies” at the Center, where one student dubbed her the “best cooker ever.” Her kindness extended to animals, as well. Throughout her life, Angela adopted many “fur babies,” giving needy animals a second chance at a good life. Angela loved all things bright and beautiful - from tie-dye dresses to lively bandanas that matched her colorful spirit. Simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Angela.
She was a true rock hound with an impressive collection of fossils and gemstones, a collector of beach glass and other Lake Erie treasures, and a gifted painter. Those close to her will miss her sharp mind and her thoughtful, dependable advice.
She is survived by a loving family and community mourning the loss of our beautiful sister and friend.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the ASPCA to honor Angela’s legacy aspca.org/donate
