
Ruth M. Carr, 86, of Conneautville Pa, passed away peacefully on May8, 2025 at the Marquette Hospice House in Meadville Pa. She was born on May 19, 1938 in Meadville to the late George and Virginia (Lindsey) Manning.
A 1956 graduate of Conneaut Valley High School. Ruth started as a receptionist for a physician at the Conneautville Medical Center. She stayed though a number of physicians. Retiring as CEO in 1998 from the Conneaut Valley Health Center, which was in the MMC umbrella.
She has been a member of the Conneautville Jr. Women`s Club, Conneaut Valley Business Association, and the Conneaut Valley Area Historical Society.
Ruth loved spending time with her family and hosted their family reunion at her house.
She is survived by two children Melissa Braden Vilk and Brian Vilk, a grandson Zebullon Braden, grand-daughter Darby Lyman (John), Lynzee, Damion, Jack, Silas, Allison Lyman (Tyler), Lily, Lawson, Lenon, two brothers Ronald (Donna) Manning Daleville, Al, Joseph (Michele) Manning Osterburg, Pa, a sister Deborah (Robert) Manning and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ruth is proceeded in death by her parents, a sister Patty Austin, a brother Donald Manning, brother In law Art Austin, nephew Arthur Austin, great nephew Jeffery Ellis, and a son In law Larry Braden.
A Celebration of Live will be at a later time for family and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to a charity of donor's choice.
